John has over 25 years’ experience in water and civil industry mostly focused on construction and project delivery. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia. He is also a member of Registered Professional Engineers in Queensland (RPEQ).

John has worked in various infrastructure projects across Queensland where he was involved in tier 1 projects totalling to $15 billion. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Queensland University of Technology, Australia. This wide experience helps John oversee the full scope of issues when making decisions and giving direction to his team at Blackstorm Engineers.

Phillip is our Site supervisor who, with his talented group of tradesmen, makes sure the work is done and that work is done correctly. Phil is an all-rounder who has been in the industry for a long time.

June Njogu is a civil engineer, who has recently come into our midst to become our project Engineer. She will be charging head first into big projects that require the coordination of large amounts of materials and a talented group of people. With June at the head we will be tackling bigger projects and growing further as a business.

With 1 and a half years of working with BlackStorm Engineers under his belt, Immanuel is a qualified engineer studying his honours at Queensland University of Technology. A skilled engineer who has plenty of field experience and if you have ever had dealings with Blackstorm, you likely have had Immanuel make something for you.

Harrison is a jack of all trades type, with a can-do attitude. Over the last couple of years, Harrison has been exploring different careers options but has always taken a management position. Under the guidance of John Hunter, Harrison is taking his talents to the next level and is using his experience to keep all matters that do not deal with engineering out of his engineers’ hands.
